About Us

Who We Are And What We Do

Yoga Energy LV, Center for Yoga, Meditation and Healing Arts was created by Patsy Garcia the spring of 2017.  Patsy is a Certified Yoga Instructor, Meditation teacher, Reiki Master, Certified S.O.A.R. Yoga for Recovery Teacher and trained in iRest Yoga Nidra by Richard Miller, PHD.  She is a dedicated teacher and energy worker, whose purpose is to help students in the self-healing process, especially from the damaging effects of unmanaged stress, Illnesses or addictions.

When you enter the studio you feel the peaceful atmosphere where you are never rushed in for a class & then right back out the door.  As you walk in you can feel the calming energy in the air surrounding you.  It is a cozy comfortable space, with the Eight-fold Path of Yoga displayed on the wall by candle light that reminds us that yoga asana is just one of the Paths of Yoga.  When your class is over you are welcome to stay and sit down with a cup of tea and conversation about a class, an asana you are working on, yoga theory or the latest book suggested in the Newsletter.  Many of our students have called Yoga Energy LV their new Yoga Home after their very first visit.

All Yoga Instructors at the Yoga Energy LV Studio are highly trained and very experienced at teaching.  This means they give precise instructions, closely watch their students, offer a prop when needed and first talk the student through any adjustments, or variations needed, before offering to make any physical adjustment.  One of our goals is to help the student notice how their body feels when they are in a correct posture so that the next time they will remember the feeling.  The correct posture is different for each student depending on their own body type, flexibility, current health, injuries or trauma.  We never try to make a student conform to a “perfect” yoga posture.

Travel the whole Eightfold Path of Yoga with us where you can learn to safely practice the Classic Yoga Asanas (postures) in the Beginner Yoga classes, then learn how to flow from one asana to the next with your breath in one of the Vinyasa classes, or slow down with a Yin Yoga class.  You can also learn to meditate, chant and experience how healthy breathing calms your mind and body.  Find true deep relaxation with Restorative Yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra, Sound Therapy Savasana and Reiki Energy Therapy or try something fun and join in one of our Kundalini Yoga classes.  Join us this week at your New Yoga Home.

Patsy A. Garcia, R.Y.T., Reiki Master

Patsy GarciaPatsy Garcia resides in Southern Nevada which has been her home for 27 years after relocating from Austin, Texas in 1990. Working for over 25 years as a technical Illustrator, Land Use designer and Development consultant, she personally experienced the painful health effects of unmanaged stress. Patsy sought a more enlightened path of living that yoga offered and began to study techniques for relieving and managing stress and the unhealthy consequences.

Patsy’s started her first teacher training in 2007 at the All About Yoga Studio in the Stress Management Center of Nevada, She then trained with Richard Miller, PHD in his iRest Yoga Nidra practices. She was Certified by Kyczy Hawk, Author of “Yoga and the 12 Step Path”, for S.O.A.R. Yoga for Recovery, (S.O.A.R. stands for Success Over Addictions and Relapse) She had the privilege of training with T.K.V. Desikachar, author of “The Heart of Yoga” in the practice of “Healing with Yoga”.

Patsy has acquired a healing “tool box” of techniques including Yoga, Meditation, healthy breathing techniques and Pranayama. She is trained in iRest Yoga Nidra and traditional Yoga Nidra which are both yogic meditations practiced in a state of deep relaxation. She is a certified Reiki Master and uses Aura clearing, chakra balancing and crystals with her Energy Therapy. All of these healing tools leave you with a feeling of wellbeing and serenity. Her passions are teaching the Eightfold Path of Yoga to students who are new to yoga, students who have Illnesses, challenges or injuries and those who have been touched by addictions.

Meet Our Instructors

Heather Fairman

RYT 500 and an E-RYT 200

Heather is an RYT 500 and an E-RYT 200 with over 1500 hours of teaching experience in both group classes and teacher trainings. Her first teacher training was at Sin City Yoga in Las Vegas. She then received her RYT 500 training at the All About Yoga Studio in the Stress Management Center of Nevada. Heather’s enthusiasm for yoga shines through in every class.

She has a fun and relaxed teaching style, but still infuses her classes with clear, concise information. Heather enjoys mentoring new yoga teachers as they begin their journey into teaching. When not teaching or practicing yoga, Heather enjoys knitting, reading, and spending time with her husband, dogs, and kitty.

NavKiran Dhillon

RYT 500, ERYT 200

Nav was born in India in 1980 where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Food Science and Technology. In 2001 Nav migrated to the United States where she was influenced by yoga after her son was born in 2006. After experiencing an injury and back issues, the yoga classes Nav took at the All About Yoga studio helped her to relieve the pain. Those classes also helped her with the everyday conundrums of “who am I” and “what do I want to do with my life”.

Yoga helped her to feel so much better both inside and out that she decided to attend the Teacher Training Program at the Stress Management Center of Nevada. Nav is now an RYT 500 hour Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, registered with Yoga Alliance. In addition she has a 100 hour Specialty Certification in Therapeutic Yoga. She also obtained the ERYT 200 accreditation which means she is qualified to present classes for continuing education training for yoga teachers.

Currently Nav teaches Beginner Yoga, Kids Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation, Chair Yoga, Gentle Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga in Various locations in Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cynthia Eaton

550 hour RYT & Level 3 Reiki

Cynthia is a 550 hour RYT and Level 3 Reiki practitioner. She received her 200 hour training at Sin City Yoga, and her 300 hour training at All About Yoga. She enjoys sharing different tools for health and wellbeing including yoga, meditation, vibrational sound healing, and Reiki.

Pam ReynoldsPam Reynolds

Pam Reynolds is a certified White lotus yoga Instructor who has been practicing for over 30 years. While living in Detroit she introduced hundreds of people to yoga through her company “Yoga in the City”. Upon moving to Las Vegas in 2001, she conducted after-school workshops for teachers, at the Clark County School District, as well as incorporated yoga in her classroom for behavior modification. Pam was certified by Addie deHilster to teach Yin Yoga in March of 2017.

Pam’s personal practice includes ongoing trainings, retreats and workshops which enable her to modify poses, provide individual instruction and incorporate props in her teaching to support her students. Pam teaches a Yin yoga community class at Yoga Energy LV every Friday at 11:00 am, where she specializes in instructing seniors.

Nita Andrieu

E-RYT 500, YACEP, Certified Advanced Relax and Renew® Instructor

Nita Andrieu is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500, YACEP, Certified Advanced Relax and Renew® Instructor (including assisting Judith Lasater, PhD, PT), Certified Yin Yoga teacher and Children’s Yoga Instructor as well as holds 170 hours of specialized Therapeutic Yoga training with focus on Yoga Nidra, Guided Relaxation and various medical issues.

She has studied and led classes in the Las Vegas/Henderson area for 15 years and has been involved consistently in a number of 200 and 300 teacher training programs as a trainer and mentor since 2009 through All About Yoga and Yoga Works.

Nita leads her students with compassion and support and is comfortable with a first time student as well as the seasoned practitioner. Her detailed understanding of anatomy and alignment is fused into an atmosphere of community, fun and celebration where students are encouraged to honor the present moment and explore their body, mind, and spirit.

Eva Hallbeck

Eight-limbs Path of Yoga Instructor

Eva Hallbeck was born in Sweden and raised in Iceland. For 20 years she worked as a professional dancer both in Europe and in the United States, in many different productions.

She was introduced to yoga by her mother who has practiced yoga for many years. After her dance carrier she took 500 hour teacher training with Kathleen Grace-Santor at All About Yoga in the Stress Management Center of Nevada in Henderson.

Following the eight-limbs path of yoga has profoundly changed Eva’s way of living and she hopes to help others discover the eight-limbs path so that it will help make changes in their life’s also.

Laura Shakti

Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher

Laura Shakti, aka Ragubir Kaur was first introduced to Yoga by her mother as a child. Since then she has traveled the world teaching, learning, and practicing.

Laura is grateful to have practiced and studied Kundalini Yoga for over fifteen years in Los Angeles, with Yogi Bhajan and the Kundalini Yoga community at the Guru Ram Das Ashram.

She is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and maintains a yogic lifestyle with her husband and their three daughters. Laura has also studied Sivinanda Tradition yoga, as well as Yoga Flow.

Laura is also a professional dancer and dance teacher, and has performed internationally.

She holds a B.S. from UCLA in Women’s Studies and Anthropology, and has studied at the YoSan College of Chinese Medicine. Laura has also practiced healing arts for over 30 years, and is certified in many traditions, including Massage Therapy, Reiki, Pranic Healing, and the Yogic Healing Art of Sat Nam Rasayan.

Billie JonesBillie Jones

500 hour Certified Yoga Teacher

Billie was born in Chicago Heights, IL. She originally moved to Las Vegas in 1983 and recently returned after spending five years in Houston, TX. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and worked as a Trauma Office Administrator for over 20 years.

Her interest in yoga peaked after spending a week at the Sivananda Yoga retreat in Nassau Bahamas and she subsequently decided to embark on a new career. She enrolled in yoga teacher training at the Stress Management Center in Henderson, NV and received her 500 hour Yoga Teacher Certification

Billie has overcome numerous health challenges ranging from debilitating rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 19, to being a cancer survivor. After witnessing a miraculous recovery from her rheumatoid arthritis and other health woes, she is amazed at the body’s ability to recover and regenerate with optimal nutrition and regular exercise. It is her belief that “anyone“ can build strength and flexibility from practicing traditional yoga poses.

Yoga is an individual practice and Billie’s goal is to share her passion through teaching yoga in a noncompetitive, relaxing, and peaceful environment.
